Olive Oil Trás-os-Montes PDO inCAN

Harvested in one of Portugal’s most authentic regions, this PDO olive oil comes from the mountainous Douro Valley, where granitic soils and a unique microclimate create a bold and distinctive character. Made from local olive varieties: Verdeal Transmontana, Madural, Cobrançosa, and Cordovil it offers a generous, well-balanced profile with green, fruity notes and a touch of bitterness.

Traditionally stored in metal tins, the oil is perfectly protected from light, preserving its freshness and flavor, just as it’s served on the abundant tables of Trás-os-Montes, alongside local wine and cured meats.

Olive Oil BIO inCAN

The “Transmontanos” are known for their abundant tables, filled with local wine, olive oil, and sausages. They produce, in a very limited region, a generous and flavorful olive oil. The “Trás-Os-Montes” region is located at the heart of the mountainous Douro Valley. Its unique microclimate and predominantly granitic soil give the region’s olive oils a distinctive character. The traditional metal tin packaging in Portugal perfectly preserves the olive oil from light.

PDO from Alentejo Olive Oil

The production of olive oil in the Alentejo region is lost in the memory of time. Romans, Visigoths and Arabs produced olive oil. It is thought that, even before the presence of these peoples in the region, olive oil was already produced there. Portel, where our olive oils come from, is one of the municipalities that produce the Olive Oil from Alentejo Interior – PDO.
